Great post, Holly,

If I had to put my money on the most important factor, though, it would be that the baby picture looked more authentic and real compared to the more stock-looking photo of the child.

To me, these kind of subtle visual cues are a lot like the non-verbal body language of in-person encounters in that they have a HUGE impact on the credibility and perceived sincerity of the words themselves.

I think you're right Jeff. Subtle visual cues are extremely important.

I'm reading "You Don't Say - Navigating Nonverbal Communication Between the Sexes" and it addresses that very subject.
