Love the "diary" idea and how brands are using it to connect with women. With women continuing to flock to blogs and other social media tools, it isn't surprising to learn how captivated we become by reading (or watching) someone else's thoughts and ideas. It is an instant relationship-builder. And while I never thought much about the UPS ad, you are so right--just the squeaky sound of the marker and the board grabs my attention.

Yup, that squeek is irresistable. In my research on why moms blog, the whole diary thing also popped up often. (It's basically what a lot of mom blogs are - personal diaries, just online).
