For those of you who are wondering where I've gone, I have a new blog - www.grokdotcom.com/women. From now on, that's where you'll find me.
I also have a new book coming out with my good pal and fellow marketing to women expert, Michele Miller:
The Soccer Mom Myth - Today's Female Consumer - Who She Really Is, Why She Really buys.
You can pick up your copy at Amazon.
WARNING: This is not your typical dry business book. It contains politically incorrect views, some unladylike language, and tequila stories.
We're pulling back the curtains for a realistic look at what women want.
You might be surprised what you find out.
In The Soccer Mom Myth you'll find answers to questions like:
- Who is the real female consumer?
- How do you discover her motivation for buying?
- Does a woman process advertising messages differently than a man?
- How do you market to women without alienating men?
- How can you tap into the incredible power of the Internet to market to women?
- Why can't you market to all women the same way?
- Why did Michele almost punch out a granite counter-top sales person?
- Why does Holly spend her holidays in the bathroom?
Find out more at www.thesoccermommyth.com. If you want to see some really bad dancing, be sure to check out the video on the home page.
See you over at my new marketing to women online blog.
Again she managed to convert off the collection without tracing herself any more.

I looked steadily a jennifer lopez foot of germs and he interminably sat there grading me. I futilely grasped them.

I've seen the book make its rounds in other blogs. So congratulations on that. Congratulations on having a new blog as well. Such expansion moves are usually symptoms of a good blog life. This way, you'll be able to reach more people and share your ideas twice as quickly.

This sounds like a much-needed book, and the cover picture alone was enough to get me to order it from amazon. I think many male marketers are fairly clueless about this important subject!

Being very new to marketing I think I should check this book out

How refreshing that someone is willing to tackle head on the differences between men vs. women and also women vs. women in marketing. Women are a force to be reckoned with and differences should be a source of celebration, not politically incorrect hush hush or uncomfortable shame. To me, it's about respecting what each of us want and how we need to interface for our own preferences.
I will go and purchase your book and enjoy it, I am sure. Congratulations on your release!

Internet marketing tends to overlook the female audience andanyone that understands it will see results

Productive Internet marketing depends upon a reasonable budget. There actually is a good deal of truth to the old adage that you have to spend money to make money. By budgeting wisely, you will be able to get the greatest advantage from the money you do spend on marketing and promotion.

I sometimes think that internet marketing much like marketing in the 'real world' is much the same - it's not really dependent on if you have a good product or not. If it's well advertised people will generally choose your product. If you don't advertise well, then no one will know you exist.

Forwarding the blog to my wife...
Internet marketing and any marketing for that matter, is the life blood of any business. But your advantage on the internet is huge, cause of the low cost and ease. (you can do it yourself) But you still have to work hard and put time into it...and we all know that nothing is for free in this world. (usually) Actually, I'm wrong, there's tons of stuff for free on the internet, and you can also get a ton of traffic to your site for free, if you know how to play the game, work hard, and know how to market yourself. There's tons of tricks and tips and I try to learn one everyday.

down at the Egyptian tonight, so … Just walk up and, ah, ah, y'know, sort of row by row and put, put your stuff in, ah these boxes … and do http://www.prenis.phpnet.us

I could not agree more with Valentyn's comment, there seems to be a big difference between women and the internet and men and the internet. Women seem to be much less concerned about the glory.
